Maintenance
Aurora Military Housing personnel pride themselves on the quality of upkeep they provide for your home. Maintenance requests are classified as EMERGENCY or ROUTINE. Emergency requests may be called in 24 hours a day, seven days a week (Please DO NOT e-mail emergency requests). Routine requests may be called in between 0800 and 1700 Monday - Friday or 0900 to 1200 and 1300 to 1600 Saturday. You may also email routine requests to maint@jlproperties.com . Maintenance personnel will telephone you to schedule an appointment or to obtain Permission to Enter in order to make repairs.
Emergency Requests: Maintenance requirements, which constitute an immediate danger, a health hazard, or a threat of damage to the property or to the Resident. Maintenance personnel will contact you as soon as possible to evaluate the issue to make repairs.
Routine Requests: Maintenance requirements that do not constitute an immediate danger to the resident or to the property. Maintenance personnel will schedule a time to visit your home to make needed repairs.
Note: In accordance with the Alaska Statutes and your lease, Aurora Maintenance personnel may enter your dwelling in your absence to handle emergency situations.
Maintenance Request Procedures
Call, fax or email your maintenance request to Aurora Military Housing. Be sure to specify if you want to be home during the work or if Maintenance has permission to enter to complete the work. Please do not email emergency request!
