Referral Process and Move In Procedures
All active duty service members assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson are eligible to reside in Aurora Military Housing. The Military Housing Flight is responsible for qualifying all housing applicants. The application process is simple. Fill out a DD form 1746, Application for Housing, at your current base housing office with a copy of your orders and submit them to the 673rd Capital Asset Management Office (Formerly the Military Housing Flight Office). Their phone number is 907-552-4439. Once your application is approved and referred to Aurora, you will be placed on the housing wait list, based on bedroom qualifications. Move Out Procedures
A notice of intent to vacate must be provided to Aurora Military Housing no less than 30 days prior to move out. Please stop by the Aurora office as soon as possible so a member of our friendly staff may assist you in your move out process. We will schedule your pre-final and final inspections and help you make your transition out of housing a smooth and stress free experience.
