The installation will be performing its annual power outage on JBER-R as authorities work to test the integrity and reliability of backup power generation systems.
The outage will affect all buildings on Ft. Richardson, including housing. During this testing period, JBER-Richardson will undergo multiple power outages. It is expected that each of these outages will last no more than an hour.
Date: 9 October 2020
Time: 0900 to 1600 hours, 9 AM to 4 PM.
Neighborhoods: Birch Hill, Cottonwood, Fireweed, Independence, Kodiak, Moose Haven, Puffin Park, Raven Ridge.
