Snow Event Update (10 November)

• Snow removal teams will continue working to plow new accumulation and haul snow from the neighborhoods on Saturday (11 November)
• If your scheduled trash pickup day is Friday and your trash was not picked up, please bring your roll carts to the curb Monday (13 November) morning no later than 6 AM.
• Silver Run will be plowed tomorrow (11 November) at 6:30 AM. The roads in Silver Run are narrow and vehicles parked on the road, especially on the “No Parking” side of the road, make it difficult for plows to safely navigate the neighborhood. Vehicles parked on the “No Parking” side of the road will likely be ticketed by Security Forces and could be towed if they continue to pose a challenge to snow removal teams. We are plowing out the Silver Run Community Center as well as the Community Garden Parking lot later tonight; you may use these areas to temporarily park vehicles while snow removal is taking place.

1) EMERGENCY OFFICE CLOSURE

Our Offices and Self-Help Center will be closed on 9 November 2023 due to the directive by JBER.

Due to the Veteran’s Day holiday, our office will also be closed on 10 November 2023.

EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE

Emergency maintenance will still be available. Please call (907) 753-1091 if you are experiencing a maintenance emergency.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENTS

Routine maintenance scheduled for 9 November 2023 (Thursday) will be rescheduled. Our team will reach out on 13 November (Monday) to reschedule.

MOVE OUTS AND INSPECTIONS

If you have a pre-final inspection or a final inspection scheduled for 9 November, a member of our team will reach out to you to discuss your options.

MOVE INS

If you are scheduled to view the move in briefing or have a scheduled move in for 9 November, a member of our team will reach out to you to either reschedule or coordinate the move in as scheduled.

COMMUNITY CENTER RESERVATIONS

If you have a community center reserved this weekend and have not yet picked up keys, a member of our team will reach out to you to ensure you get the keys.

2) PLOWS ARE BEING DISPATCHED

Our snow removal contractor will begin removing snow starting the morning of 9 November 2023. Please be sure to remove cars from the roads when possible as this will enable quicker, more thorough plowing.

EXERCISE CAUTION

Please be extra cautious when driving through the neighborhoods. Keep your distance from other vehicles and be mindful of pedestrians.
