Our contractor Denali Maintenance will be performing spot treatment of encroaching vegetation near and within some playground zones.
What is being applied?
A liquid herbicide- Low Vol 4 Ester Weed Killer. Herbicides are a type of pesticide that only targets vegetation, not insects.
When is this happening?
Between 31 August and 18 September 7 September. Signs will be posted prior to application and removed upon completion of treatment.
UPDATE: due to the weather, herbicide application dates have been extended.
We ask that all residents remain away from the application sites until treatment is completed and signs are removed.
