Plows are being dispatched
Plows will begin clearing snow the morning of 11 March. Be sure to remove cars from the roads when possible, as this will enable quicker, more thorough plowing. To contend with the large amount of snow, our contract team will be following a different schedule than normal.
3/11: Snow removal efforts will focus on JBER-R and Moose Crossing; these areas got hit much harder than JBER-E. Please be aware that crews will operate later than normal, potentially into quiet hours.
3/12: Snow removal efforts will focus on JBER-E. Crews will also begin Deployed Spouse Program snow removal.
The above timeline is not set in stone, as any number of factors can impact snow removal.
Exercise Caution
Please be extra cautious when driving through the neighborhoods. Keep your distance from other vehicles and be mindful of pedestrians.
