Winter is here, and with it comes the responsibility of managing snow around your home. As a community, it’s essential we work together to ensure our roads and sidewalks remain clear and safe for everyone.
Here are some key snow removal reminders:
- Do Not Shovel Snow Into the Road: Shoveling snow back into the street creates hazards for drivers and makes it harder for our snow removal teams to do their jobs effectively. Please pile snow in your yard or designated areas instead. If you don’t have a yard, please read this.
- Clear Sidewalks and Driveways: To help keep paths safe for you and your visitors, make sure entry pathways and driveways are cleared promptly after snowfall.
- Move Vehicles Off the Street: During snow removal operations, please move all vehicles off the road. This allows for a more thorough plow and ensures roads stay wide enough for safe navigation.
- Roll Carts and Other Items: Keep roll carts and other items off the street during snow removal times to avoid obstruction; on trash or recycling day, bring them in as soon as possible.
Let’s work together to keep our community safe and accessible throughout the winter season.
