JBER Spring Clean week is upon us! The week of 4 May 2020 is all about removing waste and trash left over from the winter, promoting environmental conservation, and offering extra resources to JBER residents looking to safely dispose of waste.
EDIT (5/5/20): We are unable to accommodate the times originally published. To ensure they are able to make it to the dump before it closes, Alaska Waste is unable to pick up past 4:30 PM. To be safe, we’ve modified the hours to 8 to 4. This was a communication error on our end, not by Alaska Waste and we deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by reporting the incorrect hours.
JBER SPRING CLEAN WEEK
The base will be performing clean up of common areas and will offer a number of resources to those looking to beautify the installation. More updates can be found on the JBER website and facebook.
DUMPSTERS
Dumpsters will be deployed in front of both of our offices from 4 May till 8 May. These are available to assist all residents in individual spring cleaning endeavors. For details on what can be disposed of, please read section 5.3 in the Resident Handbook.
Some reminders for using these dumpsters:
- These are for JBER Residents only.
- Dumpsters are not for hazardous waste.
