What's Next?

Once you are within 30 days of the date you would like to move in and you have completed step 1 and 2, we can confirm the expected wait time and/or begin the home offer process. The MHO will connect with AMH once you have completed step 2 above.

How does the waitlist work?

Your position on the waitlist is determined by your eligibility date, arrival date, and resident status (i.e. current, K&E, or prospect). Placement and position on the waitlist is not determined by your application date in most cases. The Military Housing Office determines the date your application is effective based on a number of variables outlined in official guidance. Please contact the Military Housing Office for further questions about your eligibility date.

When you submit your application to AMH in STEP 1 above, you get added to the waitlist on a preliminary basis. Once you complete MHO Verification in STEP 2, you will be able to see your official position on the waitlist.
