  • 1. Seasonal Maintenance Technician

    The Maintenance Technician performs necessary maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance throughout Aurora Military Housing. He/She is to utilize skills normally associated with the carpentry, plumbing, welding, electrical, masonry and related property and facility maintenance trades, to ensure the proper maintenance and repair of Aurora Military Housing assets on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson. Work requires performing duties independently with the responsibility for adapting tools and materials to assigned projects and applying discretion in determining proper work methods and procedures or in analyzing preventative maintenance needs. He/She responds to maintenance and repair needs, as required by department procedures.

  • 2. Seasonal Painter

    The Painter performs necessary surface preparation and painting throughout all Aurora Military Housing units. He/She is to utilize skills normally associated with the general painting needs of facility maintenance. He/She is responsible for painting walls, woodwork and fixtures. He/She has the knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for different applications. He/She continually strives to increase his/her working knowledge of the property. He/She is thorough, reliable, honest, organized, flexible and service-oriented.

  • 3. Work Order Clerk

    The Work Order Clerk performs a variety of property management and administrative functions for Aurora Military Housing. He/She is often the first point of contact to potential tenants, resident tenants, vendors and the Military, and as such, must have a pleasant demeanor, possess strong people skills and the ability to work well with people from diverse social and economic backgrounds. He/She is to conduct business in a manner that attracts and retains residents by performing the general duties and specific duties, as well as any other duties assigned. This is a bargaining unit position.
    This position is responsible for various duties relating to maintaining accurate and current tenant accounts, including data entry, generating work orders, and timely communication with appropriate individuals or entities regarding appointment schedules, applicable charges, notices, the status of work order completion, and related information.
