Please be advised that JBER will be conducting a base-wide power outage as part of an officially mandated Energy Resilience Readiness Exercise (ERRE) scheduled for June 9–13.
This exercise is designed to test and strengthen the base’s ability to respond to extended power outages in a real-world scenario.

- Extended Power Outage
The duration of the outage may vary and could last several hours, but no more than 2 hours in residential areas. Please plan accordingly for any essential needs. - Possible Impacts to Facility Operations
Some community services or office operations may experience delays or temporary closures, depending on power availability. - System Shutdowns
Systems and equipment not on backup power may be shut down early in preparation for the outage. This may include HVAC systems, internet, or other electrically powered services.
At this time, we do not have further information on how housing units will be specifically affected. As more details are provided by the base, we will keep residents updated.
