Numerous seasonal lawn care resources are available for pickup at our Self Help Center. These resources and tool rentals are provided at no cost to current residents.
Our Self Help Center is located at 6350 Arctic Warrior Drive. You can visit us Monday – Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Note: The parking lot for our Self Help Center is currently closed to vehicle traffic due to construction being performed by the 673d CES. Access to the Self Help Center is still available by parking behind the building near the construction barriers and using the walking path along the fence, or by parking in front of the building and walking along the right side of the building to enter the Self Help Center.
Consumables
Limestone
Lime helps balance out the acidity of the soil after a long winter. Limestone is a must for those with pets, as urine can alter the PH of soil.
Limestone should be applied once in the spring, and once in the fall.
Grass Seed
As the name suggests, grass seed is baby grass. You throw it down, keep it moist, keep the pets and kids off of it, and it turns into a soft field of green bliss.
Grass seed should be applied once in late spring (after the limestone).
Fertilizer
Fertilizer helps facilitate growth of grass, it’s a delicate balance though as applying too much can kill the grass.
Topsoil
Topsoil is used to fill holes in yards.
The pile is located within the gated area and will be self-serve between the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday – Friday. Aside from checking availability, there is no need to schedule an appointment, simply show up with your own receptacle and take the topsoil you need.
Please note that topsoil is not individually bagged, and you must provide your own container.

Aerator Shoes (Grass Cleats)
These help increase airflow in the ground, leading to faster grass growth.
Hand Spreaders
Apply the perfect amount of limestone, grass seed, and fertilizer. Hand spreaders enable consistent and accurate application of lawn care products.
Edgers
Used to create clean edges around driveways and sidewalks.
Shovels, Rakes, Garden Hoes, Hedge Trimmers
For as needed lawn care and gardening tasks.
