An emergency water shut off is scheduled for some homes in the Houston and New Sunflower neighborhoods to allow 773d CES to perform repairs on a broken water line. Following the outage, a precautionary boil water notice will go into effect.
Our snow removal contractor will begin removing snow on the parts of JBER-E with over 2″ of accumulation the morning of 21 January 2023. Moose Crossing and JBER-R did not receive enough snow to dispatch plows. Please be sure to remove cars from the roads when possible as well as trash roll carts once pickup is completed, as this will enable quicker, more thorough plowing.
Aurora Housing sponsors three ice rinks on JBER, one on the Richardson side, and two on the Elmendorf side. Due to the immense amount of snow received over the past few weeks, Fighter Drive and Orion are still undergoing maintenance and will be available on 6 January, however Ursa Major is ready to go.
