2021 Schedule
As far as trash and recycling pickup is concerned, 2021 will look much like 2020. Recycling will continue to be picked up every two weeks, while trash will continue to be picked up weekly on Wednesdays (JBER-R) and Fridays (JBER-E). All holidays are accounted for in this schedule.
Alaska Waste App
Alaska waste has an app (& it’s super useful)! While we’ll continue to provide a pickup schedule, we encourage everyone to make use of this app to stay aware of pickup dates and proper waste disposal requirements.

- Waste Wizard: Not sure if something can be thrown in the trash? Enter an item and receive information about the best location and safest way to dispose of it.
Holiday Pickup Schedule
As reflected in the 2020 and the 2021 schedule. Trash pickup for JBER-E will be altered both the week of Christmas and the week of New Years. Rather than a Friday pickup, trash will be picked up on Saturday.
JBER-E 25 December (Friday) pickup will be pushed to 26 December (Saturday)
JBER-E 1 January (Friday) pickup will be pushed to 2 January (Saturday)
