Keep Pets on a Leash 🐾
- Leash Requirement: All pets must be kept on a leash when outside your home or fenced yard. This ensures the safety of both your pet and others.
Control Barking and Behavior 🗣️
- Minimize Noise: Please control excessive barking and any other undesirable behaviors; excessive barking can be considered a nuisance regardless of whether or not it occurs during quiet hours.
- Address Aggression: Any signs of aggressive behavior should be addressed immediately to prevent potential harm to others.
Clean Up After Your Pets 🧹
- Common Areas: Always pick up after your pets in common areas to keep our community clean and pleasant for everyone.
- Backyards: Maintain cleanliness in your own backyard. Be a good neighbor and pick up pet waste to prevent odors, damage to your yard, and prevent unsanitary conditions.
Confine Pets to Your Yard 🏡
- Fenced Yards: Pets should be confined to your backyard if not on a leash. Even when confined in the backyard, pets should not be left unattended or allowed to become a nuisance or threat to neighbors.
Register Your Pets 📋
- Veterinary Registration: All pets must be registered with the JBER Veterinarian. Ensure your pets have the required vaccinations, microchips, and are a breed that is authorized to be on JBER.
- Notify Housing: Inform Aurora Military Housing once your pets are registered and if there are any changes in pet ownership.
