PLOWS ARE BEING DISPATCHED
Our snow removal contractor will begin removing new snow accumulation the morning of 15 December. Ongoing wind row removal on JBER-E will continue this (14 December) evening. Please be sure to remove cars from the road when possible, as this will enable quicker, more thorough plowing.
As with the prior snow event, in an effort to reach all JBER streets expeditiously, the contractor may opt to make an initial single lane pass through each street, leaving wind rows, and some driveway berms; these would be removed after an initial pass of JBER is made.
Do not attempt to drive through berms or wind rows. The initial pass through is intended to allow one-way traffic on each street, please drive next to the berms and wind rows until you reach an intersection or designated pass through point. This will be the fastest way to navigate through housing.
EXERCISE CAUTION
Please stay off roads unless you have emergent business to conduct. This will allow for the most safe and effective snow removal on your street.
If you must leave your home, please be extra cautious when driving through the neighborhoods. Keep your distance from other vehicles and be mindful of pedestrians.
DEPLOYED SPOUSE BENEFITS
If you qualify for our Deployed Spouse Program, you are eligible to receive complimentary driveway snow removal. This service will commence after we are able to clear the neighborhood streets and sidewalks.
