We are making some adjustments to our COVID-19 response. Our hope is to fully return to normal office hours and turn most services back online within the next few months, however this is entirely contingent on future local, state, and federal guidance.

1. Office Hours Update

Our 6350 Arctic Warrior Drive office will remain open Monday – Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM to limited walk in traffic with phone/online chat hours expanding to Monday-Friday, 9 AM- 4 PM

  • Masks are required when entering any buildings on JBER, including ours. Please utilize other communication options, including online chat, phones, or website submissions, if you are unable to comply with this JBER Mandate.
  • A maximum of two (2) families are allowed in our office’s waiting area at a time.

Our 6350 Arctic Warrior Drive Self Help Center will be open Monday – Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM to limited walk in traffic starting today 12 April.

  • A maximum of one (1) family is allowed in our self help center at a time. 

Our 338 Hoonah Avenue office will now be open Monday – Friday, 10 AM to 2 PM to limited walk in traffic starting today 12 April.

  • Masks are required when entering any buildings on JBER, including ours. Please utilize other communication options, including online chat, phones, or website submissions, if you are unable to comply with this JBER Mandate.

A number of community amenities and events are available, while others remain offline. We’ve compiled some updates below.

Community Garden

Applications are open until 15 April! To learn more and submit an application, please view our community garden blog post.

Outdoor Playgrounds

Outdoor playgrounds are open. The following JBER wide guidelines still exist.

Users must…

  • Wear masks if age-appropriate.
  • Maintain adequate social distance of 6′ or more from people who do not reside in your household.
  • Stay home if sick.
  • Wash hands before and after using the playground.

Indoor Playground

The indoor playground at 338 Hoonah Avenue remains closed for the time being.

Community Centers

Community centers are currently closed, however, we expect to open up reservations once again within the next two months.
